SHEEPISH PRODUCTIONS

We are a South Yorkshire based theatre company that creates new work for touring across the UK. We aim to form an honest emotional connection with our audiences. We address issues that impact, affect and concern all of us and, in doing so, seek to raise awareness, prompt thought and provide comfort. We do this by drawing on personal experiences. Our work is rooted in themes of grief, trauma, mental health and the vulnerability of the human condition.

We are excited to announce that we're bringing Fishlake to Cast in Doncaster, Rotherham Civic and Theatre Royal Wakefield in October 2025. A story, based on community accounts, of our home village flooding in 2019. Made possible thanks to Arts Council funding.

Sheepish Productions was formed in 2011 with our first show, Shadow On Their Wall - a deep, dark thriller of a show which received a Best New Writing nomination and 4 star reviews from Fringe Guru and York Mix Mag. Our second show, The Last Motel sold out at Buxton Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe...plus picked up a couple of 4 star reviews. Our third play, The Life and Crimes of Reverend Raccoon, toured regionally in 2017. In 2018 and 2019 Communicate, toured across various venues in the UK with reat sucesss.
